woody fragrance for young men (Generation Y) launched in 2018 by Yves Saint Lauren. Fresh, bright, juicy, elegant, complex and appealing, Y eau de parfum for men is a light & dark fougère fragrance, featuring fresh citrus and aromatic notes followed by a deeper intensity of sensual woods. It perfectly complements the multifaceted personality traits of the Y man.
The juice of this new fragrance is deep, fresh and masculine. Created by the legendary perfumer Dominique Ropion, Y Eau de Parfum is an intense white and dark fougère. At the top of the scent is a zingy olfactive explosion of bergamot and ginger – the freshness is intensified by a fruity accord. Sitting beneath is a juniper combined with the menthol sportiness of Geranium essence and absolute, The background of the scent affords Y Eau de Parfum its masculine strength, with the intensity of amber wood playing off against nots of olibanum and Tonka bean.
Sliced through by a notch that reveals the shape of a bright metallic Y, the bottle is strong, heavy and elegant. Its sharp edges are defined by an intense dark black fade-out, which gradually gives way to clear glass. A totem and a tribute to modernity and creativity, it is a powerful object, that gives you the power.
