The Tecno Camon 30 is a mid-range smartphone that was launched in February 2024 as part of the Camon 30 series. It offers a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a 50 MP quad camera system, a 50 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging. 
Display and DesignThe Tecno Camon 30 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2436 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is bright and vivid, with a fingerprint scanner embedded under the screen. The device has a sleek and stylish design, with a gradient back panel that comes in Black, Blue, and Orange color options. The device measures 165.3 x 75.3 x 7.7 mm and weighs around 200 grams.
Performance and StorageThe Tecno Camon 30 is powered by the Mediatek Helio G99 Ultimate processor, which is an octa-core chipset with two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The processor is paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphics performance. The device runs on Android 14 with HIOS 14, which is Tecno’s custom user interface that offers various features and customization options. The device comes with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. 
Camera and BatteryThe Tecno Camon 30 boasts a 50 MP quad camera system on the rear, which consists of a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 0.08 MP auxiliary lens. The camera supports quad-LED flash, HDR, panorama, and various modes and filters. The camera can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. On the front, the device has a 50 MP selfie camera that supports dual-LED flash and HDR. The selfie camera can also record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. The Tecno Camon 30 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 70W fast charging. The device can be fully charged in less than an hour, thanks to the USB Type-C 2.0 port and the OTG functionality. The device also supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, which allows it to charge other devices wirelessly.
