Samsung Galaxy A55 - 6.6" (128GB/8GB) Dual SIM, - NAVY

Samsung Galaxy A55 is a new smartphone from the Samsung mid-range Galaxy A series, launched alongside the Galaxy A35. The Galaxy A55 has an improved design, a larger display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50 MP main sensor, a 5000mAh battery with support for 25 W charging, and a new Exynos 1480 chipset.  Samsung’s Galaxy A series has long been admired for its close resemblance to the flagship S series, offering premium features at a more accessible price point. The Galaxy A55 however comes with a redesign, but not totally deviate from what Samsung offers in terms of design and aesthetics. At first glance, the Samsung Galaxy A55 has an elegant innovative design made of glass back and back with an aluminum frame. This profile is a bit larger than its predecessor, measuring 161.1 x 77.4 x 8.2mm and weighing 213g.

The most notable change comes in the form of the “Key Island” bump on the right side of the frame. This raised portion houses the volume and power buttons, adding a distinct character to the device while also enhancing usability. It’s a small yet impactful detail that showcases Samsung’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of smartphone design. On the front, the Galaxy A55 sports a large 6.6-inch AMOLED display with thin bezels around it and a punch-hole camera cutout at the center posting the selfie camera. On the rear, the are three independent cameras vertically arranged at the left side corner with an LED flash beside it.

Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy A55 cleanly arranged the functional buttons and ports. The power button and volume rocker at the right side; the noise-canceling mic and SIM card slot up top; the speaker grill, USB Type-C port,, and the primary mic are at the bottom. This phone is available in a range of vibrant colors including Awesome Iceblue, Navy, Lilac, and Lemon, thus it offers a choice to personalize your device. Meanwhile, this phone has an IP67 rating ensures protection against water and dust, making the device suitable for use in various environments. Additionally, the upgrade to Gorilla Glass Victus Plus for both the display and back panel provides enhanced resistance against scratches and shattering, prolonging the device’s lifespan.

The android phone also features a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, which is common among modern smartphones. Additionally, it boasts a refresh rate of 120Hz, ensuring smooth and fluid interactions, especially during gaming and scrolling. The display supports HDR10+ technology, which enhances the contrast and color range for a more immersive viewing experience. With a peak brightness of 1000 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM), the display shines brightly even under direct sunlight, ensuring excellent visibility in any lighting condition.
