Menarini Tretinoi Retin A Gel USP 0.1%- Acne Treatment And Anti Aging

Retin A is a medication used to treat acne. It may decrease the number and severity of acne pimples and promote quick healing of pimples that do develop. Tretinoi  belongs to a class of medications called retinoids. It works by affecting the growth of skin cells; it accelerates cell skin renewal and as such is also used to treat wrinkles, dry rough ageing skin, hyper pigmentation. It speeds up skin cell renewal thereby shedding the old aged skin with continued usage.

Wash your hands before applying this medication. Gently clean the affected skin with a mild or soapless cleanser and pat dry. Use your fingertips to apply a small amount of medication (about the size of a pea) in a thin layer, usually once daily at bedtime or as directed by your doctor

In the treatment of Acne the stable improvement comes after 12-24 weeks of using (depending on severity)

To achieve rejuvenating effect the treatment must last not less than 24 weeks.

For beginners it should be used 2-3 times weekly at nights only, later on alternate nights and gradually increase to everyday before bedtime.

Caution

1. Medicine causes sensitivity to sun, always use SPF 30 and above during the day.

2. If you applied too much cream and have severe irritation, use an anti-burning gel like aloe vera gel to calm the skin.
