Nigerian Cultural Patterns and Historical Origin

Nigeria commonly Nick named "Giant of Africa" is the most populous country in Africa with a presidential system of government. It has a dual economy from agriculture and petroleum, while her indigenous cultures have an ancient foundation. Nigeria has about 350 indigenous languages, with cultures, and political formation that are unique. These political and language communities represent specific geo-cultural civilization.
One important lesson learnt from all the cultures, political and language communities of Nigeria is the artistic creativity. However, Nigeria had been inhabited as early as the Stone Age, although there have been a lot of remarks made about the neglect of some of the communities. The classical cultures of Nigerians are today celebrated in many forms. One dimension of these developments is the urbanization of towns and cities with elaborate fortification.
