International Relations and Political Economy of Developing States

International relation is not for the timid. There is an interest at stake in every relationship. In international relation, there is no free launch anywhere even in Freetown or in an Orange Town in California or that of Banana Island in Lagos Nigeria. Interest itself is not by asking, not even by quota system but must be backed by coercion. Indeed, every national interest is anchored in a nation's foreign policies.
Possession of power is a key. This is the crux of the matter where the chaffs are separated from the grains. Third World States are in a state of oblivion or stupor, hence there is total absence of power; and perhaps these wretched nations have become a fishing ground for power brokers - masquerading in Neo - imperialist style, while the United Nations stood akimbo to these helpless nations.
In the second section of this book, it exposes the obscure relationship between Capitalism championed by liberal school of thought; and that of Socialism propagated by Marxist or Radical scholars.
