Laraforce Insecticide – Lambda-Cyhalothrin 2.5 % EC

Laraforce insecticide is an insecticide that belongs to the family of Pyrethroid. Laraforce insectide has an active ingredient of Lambda Cyhalothrin.

Laraforce insecticide is also an acarcide as it has killing action on mites. Laraforce has action on pests like beetles, insects, aphids, mites, thrips and worms.

Laraforce as a synthetic insecticide can be used for pests affecting crops like cotton, cowpea, tomato, pepper, cucumber, cocoa, legumes, onions, watermelon, maize, lettuce, sorghum, soybeans and mango etc.

Laraforce insecticide is produced by Jubaili Agrotec, Nigeria.

Mode of Action of Lara Force Insecticide

Laraforce acts by ingestion and contact. It affects the stomach of the pest and ultimately leads to death of the pest.

Lara Force insecticide can also be used for fumigation of houses and offices. It can be used for the eradication of bed bugs.

Recommendation and Rate of Use of Laraforce Insecticide

Vegetable Crops (Tomato, pepper and cucumber etc.): Laraforce insecticide can be used to kill lepidopterous insect pests (Tuta absoluta, Spodoptera exígua, Helicoverpa armigera) and sucking insects (Jassids, aphids and white fly).

Laraforce can be applied once a week for prevention of pests. If the infestation of pests is high, Laraforce insecticide should be applied twice.

Broad Acre Crops: Laraforce insecticide can also be used to address pest issues in crops like maize, sorghum, soybeans and millet etc. 1 litre of laraforce insecticide should be applied to 200 litres.
