The Cod are line-caught, and their livers are flash-frozen to preserve their nutrients until they reach the shore. The liver is then gently processed with low heat to extract the natural oil, ensuring that all vitamins remain intact. A small amount (less than 2%) of antioxidants (natural mixed tocopherols) is added to the finished oil to preserve its quality. Cod Liver Oil is available in both liquid and soft gels.

If it has only been a few days, the shelf life will remain the same of one year. If it’s been a few months, you will need to check it every so often to make sure it hasn’t gone bad.
