Akpi seeds (Ricinodendron heudelotii) are small, aromatic, yellow-brown oilseeds from a West/Central African tree, commonly used as a potent, nutty thickener in traditional soups and stews. Rich in protein and fat, they are often ground for culinary seasoning or used in cosmetics for their purported skin-firming, moisturizing, and bust/hip-enhancing properties.
