Aso-oke is a type of clothing material that has its roots in the Yoruba culture found in South West Nigeria. The clothing is now more beautiful and more fashionable and new types keep getting produced everyday. You can mould this clothing into different forms like ‘Agbada’, tops, trousers, ‘gele’, ‘ipele’ ‘buba’, ‘iro’. Aso oke designs also vary with level of complexity from simple to complex and they can also be worn to different occasions from wedding ceremonies to birthdays, festivals, funerals and many more.
