Suggested Use: This is an essential oil classic and appropriately described as "the scent of healing." Tea tree is commonly applied topically for its antifungal potential, especially on the feet. It has also been used for mild skin burns, blemishes, wounds, and infections. Dilute to 2% with topical use, which equals about 10 drops of essential oil per ounce of carrier oil.
History: Australian Aborigines have used tea tree and related plants for many generations. It is said that they welcomed the exhausted crew of Captain James Cook (1770) with tea brewed from its leaves - hence the name.
