007: Quantum of Solace is a 2008 shooter video game published by Activision. It is based on the James Bond films Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008). The game is mostly played as a first-person shooter, but occasionally switches to third-person. Quantum of Solace is played as a shooter game across all platforms, with players taking on the role of James Bond in each version. The player can hold up to three weap0ns and can pick up fallen weap0ns left behind by dead enemies. The player is also given a map of each level, and can use hacking to unlock doors and disable security cameras. Stealth can be used and is sometimes necessary to proceed. Examples of this include the use of silenced weap0ns and silent takedowns of enemy guards.
