Game of thrones is complex but straightforward,carefully planned writing. Made grand & epic by the range of fascinating multiple perspectives. The action scenes are sparse but very well-rendered; the magic is likewise rare but that rarity makes each appearance even more fascinating. It is nothing less than pleasing.

I discovered the series because of the I show I saw somewhere by sheer luck and after it knew I needed to buy the books! Cleverly written, full of suspense and intrigue, and wonderfull complicated developed characters! I always feel like I'm in a different world entirely whenever I'm read this! I'm already on the third book and I've only had the set for a couple weeks and I can't put them down! There are many characters- which at first was hard to keep track of- but once you get into the rhythm of the story you can catch on. Besides there are appendixes of the families and houses at the back of the books to help keep track of who's who. For N6,000 for the first four books of the series- this is a STEAL! I highly recommend it!
