Volvo Safety Filter 11110176 (Pack of 2)

This is a Secondary (Safety) Air Filter element designed for the engine intake systems of Volvo construction equipment, particularly excavators and wheel loaders.

It functions as the inner "safety" layer in a two-stage air filtration system. Its primary responsibility is to provide a critical backup for the engine should the primary (outer) filter be damaged, improperly sealed, or removed during maintenance, ensuring that no harmful dust or debris enters the combustion chamber.

This filter is designed to remain in the housing while the primary filter is removed for service. Do not remove this safety filter unless you are replacing it, as doing so poses an immediate risk of allowing unfiltered air and contaminants directly into the engine, which can cause significant internal damage.
