This is a genuine OEM engine oil filter designed specifically for heavy-duty Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE). It is a heavy, full-flow spin-on filter cartridge designed to clear out contaminants over extended operation cycles—typically rated for 500-hour service intervals. The inner cellulose fibers are cured at high temperatures and embossed. This prevents the filter media from folding or collapsing under the immense oil pressure generated by heavy industrial engines.

Instead of standard glues that can degrade under high heat, the filter media seam is secured with a specialized metal clamp joint to prevent dirty oil from bypassing the filter.

If the machine operates in extreme cold (where oil is highly viscous) or if the filter completely plugs up with debris, the internal valve opens to ensure the engine is never starved of oil.
