Tropical Sun Virgin Coconut Oil is cold pressed which means that it has not been heat treated or refined. Cold pressing preserves the coconut oil’s natural goodness. At room temperature, it can be spread like butter over toast, pancakes and waffles. As you heat the oil, it melts and turns into a liquid - you can then use our Virgin Coconut Oil as a substitute for any oil in your everyday cooking. Our Virgin Coconut Oil is also ideal to moisturise your face, body and hair and to soften cuticles. It is also popularly used in oil pulling, a type of oral hygiene which is believed to reduce the amount of bacteria in your mouth: take 1 tablespoon and swish around in your mouth for a few minutes like a mouthwash. Then spit out (not in the sink!) and brush teeth as usual.
