i love that this is a complete protein! i had used the integral collagen for a long time, and when i tried this one, i did notice the taste at first but after a few days i no longer notice it! i drink a collagen hot chocolate every morning. i think it is worth a try if you are curious and want to have the benefits of a complete protein! i am reordering!

i bought this product after drinking in the advertisement. i have used the integral collagen for several years and had finally come to terms with its flavor. now, i bought this and was extremely disappointed in the flavor. it’s so strong i almost couldn’t swallow it the first time. no way it’s going into coffee! i am wondering if the benefits out weigh the price point? i have just mixed it with water to hopefully reap some benefits, but almost finished the tub after just three weeks.

thank you for the review. although many customers have said that they don’t experience any negative taste when using our new optimized collagen, we realize that not all flavors are going to be appealing to everyone. the extra trypt0phan and other amino acids added to the collagen make it a complete protein, so it can fue! lean body mass. however, along with this does come a bit of a supplement taste. thankfully, it can be disguised by how you use it. a great recipe that works well with our optimized collagen is the collagen berry whip.

i was really worried about the taste based on a few reviews. i have been using the regular collagen for over a decade, and i really love waking up to my morning coffee so i didn’t want to mess with it. however, i finally tried the optimized collagen and love it! i think it has less of a “taste” than the or!g!nal. it does dissolve, but i have to stir it for a quick bit to help it along. bottom line, it did not ruin my coffee! i’m ordering my next tub.

i just got my expensive optimized collagen and i am extremely unhappy. the old integral collagen did not change the flavor of my chai at all. this product ruins my chai. it tastes burnt or something.

i am really bummed. i purchased this product because it said twenty-four grams of protein per serving on the front label even though i thought it was pricey . when it arrived i noticed the back label states twelve grams per serving. that requires you to use two scoops instead of the advertised one scoop to get twenty-four grams. this product is to expensive for only getting twelve grams per serving. i will use it up in less than two weeks. $fifty is a steep price for this. so be forewarned if you think you will get twenty-four grams of protein per serving bc you will not.
