Operating Modes: 

TP-Link TL-WR940N offers multiple operations based on different scenarios. It can operate in Router Mode, Range Extender Mode and Access Point Mode. 

Router Mode: This mode allows you to connect the Ethernet to instantly create a private wireless network and share internet access to all your wifi devices.

Range Extender Mode: This mode boosts the existing wireless coverage.

Access Point Mode: This mode transforms your existing wired network into a wireless one.

Multi USB Function: 

The integrated USB port allows you to connect a USB storage device to the TL-WR710N mini wifi, which allows sharing of files and media through your internet browser over the network. Also, the USB port can provide a power supply (up to 5V/1A) to your mobile devices like tablets or smartphones, allowing you to move around with fewer chargers.
