Epiderm cream is a combination of a topical steroid - an antibacterial called gentamicin, and the antifungals tolnaftate and iodochlorhydroxyquinoline, which has both antibacterial and antifungal action. Use the original Epiderm cream to treat several skin conditions associated with redness and swelling (inflammation) and mixed bacterial and fungal infections like eczema, seborrheic and contact dermatitis, psoriasis, ringworm, athlete’s foot, and as a skin itching.
Indications:
It is indicated for the treatment of mixed infections of bacterial and fungal origin associated with inflammation presnet in the following conditions – Various types of eczema, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, ‘athlete’s foot’ and other mycoses.
Dosage:

• Apply a thin layer to affected areas twice daily or as directed by a doctor.

Side Effects:

• Epiderm cream is generally safe. Prolonged, continuous treatment may cause atrophy skin changes leading to thinning, loss of elasticity, dilatation of superficial blood vessels, telangiectasiae, and ecchymoses.
