The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic offers a design which is nearly identical to the previous model. You do get a bigger display on the 47mm model and since the case size has not increased a thinner bezel as well. Samsung has also brought back the rotating bezel.

The wearable packs Samsung’s latest chipset, which offers LTE connectivity. There’s also 2GB of RAM, which brings some much needed performance improvements to Samsung’s wearables lineup.

The companion apps which are preinstalled on Samsung devices are well designed and sync and work well with the smartwatch. Setup is not too difficult on a non-Samsung smartphone, but there is one Samsung exclusive feature which is reserved for Samsung devices.

Battery life is quite good overall, with the watch easily lasting a one and half days with the always on display feature switch on and a little less than two days with the always on display switched off.

Just like Apple, Samsung has been going easy on the innovation bit lately, not just with its smartwatches but its premium smartphones as well. Case in point are the recently launched Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5, all of which simply bring qualitative performance and imaging upgrades. For the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro owners, Samsung has continued this tradition with its Galaxy Watch 6 series as well. There's a new chipset, slightly bigger displays (one of which brings back the rotating bezel) and more personalised health and fitness tracking.
