Product details
The Roku Voice Remote Pro (2nd Edition) is a premium, rechargeable remote with backlit buttons, USB-C charging, hands-free/push-to-talk voice controls, a lost remote finder, and customizable shortcut buttons, offering an upgraded experience from the 1st Gen by switching from Micro-USB to USB-C and improving button quality, though it removed the 1st Gen's headphone jack. It works with all Roku TVs and most players, letting you search, control power/volume, and find your remote with your voice
Key Features of the 2nd Edition:
- Rechargeable Battery: Charges via USB-C for convenience.
- Backlit Buttons: Makes it easy to see controls in the dark.
- Hands-Free Voice: Use "Hey Roku" for commands without holding the remote.
- Lost Remote Finder: Say "Hey Roku, find my remote" to make it beep.
- TV Controls: Power, volume, and mute buttons.
- Quick Launch Button: A customizable button for instant access to apps or settings.
- Compatibility: Works with all Roku TVs and most Roku players.
What's Different from the 1st Edition?
- Charging: USB-C (2nd Gen) vs. Micro-USB (1st Gen).
- Buttons: Backlit (2nd Gen) vs. Non-backlit (1st Gen); different button layouts and programmable options.
- Headphone Jack: Missing in the 2nd Gen, present in the 1st Gen.
How to Use It:
- Setup: Follow prompts during device setup or check Roku's support for pairing.
- Voice Control: Press the microphone button or use hands-free mode to speak commands.
- Find Remote: Say "Hey Roku, find my remote".
- Customize: Program the Quick Launch button for your favorite app.
