It is sealed Lead battery and it is never spillable. It has a long life of use and can do over 600 circles.
Ensure you check your fan to know the voltage rating. If your fan uses 2 units of a 6 volts battery, you can use one unit of this 12v battery as against 2 of the 6 volts. However, if your Fan is a 6 volts only battery type, this battery will not work. Please don't use.
Also reconfirm that the size of this battery matches the size of either the Fan, UPS or any equipment you need to use it for. This battery can fit virtually all known brands of UPS that requires a 7Ah to 9Ah capacity. And the cable connector is PIN TYPE. I bought this battery for my Mercury Maverick 850 UPS. At its peak, the UPS provided back up power for my Smart TV and home theatre for 40 minutes. I decided to put the new battery installed to the test this morning, it lasted 50 minutes. Though the home theatre was not plugged in, it powered the TV while watching a movie for 50 minutes. Just WOW!
