The Mechanics RUST REMOVER is a heavy duty, no BS rust converter. It is a powerful blend of acids, surfactants and corrosion inhibitors to effectively remove rust from several surfaces including on metal, ceramic, plastic, paint and chrome. It is powerful enough to penetrate surfaces deeply to unearth and break down the protein power of rust leaving behind a fresh, spanking new look. 

EASY TO USE: Use as a soak or spray. 

For light, surface rust such as those found on ceramic, this product should be applied in spray fom and left to breakdown the stain for some minutes before rinse.

For deep, heavy set rust like those found on metals such as work tools, small car parts, etc, a soak is more preferable. Pour generously into a wide vessel, submerge metals and allow to soak for 6 to 12 hours or depending on the degree of rust. Rinse with fresh water.
