A must-have spare for DIY FDM 3D printing projects or to repla ce the MK4 - MK3.9 - XL extruder throat: This is a cloned bi-metal insulation specifically for the Hotend assembly of Nextruder-equipped printers. This adapter makes your Nextruder compatible with any V6 nozzle. Not compatible with Prusa I3 MK3S MK3 MK2.5S MK2.5 MK2S MMU2 SCW1 SL1 MINI MK3S+ MINI+ SL1S CW1S MK2 MMU2 MMU1 MMU3 MK3.5.
How to repla ce the adapter: The heating block and heating tip must be cleaned of filament residue so that the nozzle can be easily released. Do this with the printer pow ered on and avoid touching the hot parts on the hot end and heat bed. Then screw the Nextruder V6 nozzle adapter onto the heater block from the side with the heater cartridge thermistor. Use an universal wrench to screw the other side into the V6 nozzle. Do not overtighten or damage the threads.
