This advanced disinfection desk lamp can effectively deactivate viruses, bacteria, mold and spores in a matter of minutes. All bacteria and viruses tested to date respond to UV-C disinfection, and UV-C light sources tested in Philips laboratories inactivate 99% of SARS-CoV-2 virus on a surface with an exposure time of 6 seconds.

The timer function can be used depending on the size of the room or area. Larger spaces required a longer sanitization time, while small rooms or toilets may need just 15 minutes to get fully sanitized.
