PEFA Instant Ogbono Soup Mix is a convenient, all-in-one solution for preparing delicious Ogbono soup in about 10 minutes. Each pack contains 4 sachets: pre-seasoned Ogbono soup mix, palm oil, okporoko(fish), and dried Ugu leaves. The soup mix is pre-seasoned, but additional seasoning can be added to suit your taste.
Directions for use
- In a clean pot, boil your already washed proteins and okporoko(fish) for at least 5 minutes on medium heat.
- In a clean plate, pour in your Ogbono Mix with little amount of warm water, and stir together till you get a moderate consistency (not too thick or light).
- Add in your palm oil to the pot, allowing for 2 minutes before adding your Ogbono Mix in its new state.
- Stir to combine and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
- Soak the Dried Pumpkin in warm water for 1 minute, add to the soup, stirring and allowing to boil. Your Instant Ogbono Soup is Ready.
