Palmolive Strawberry Gourmet Spa Indulgent Shower Cream

The shower cream itself is a very thick, creamy, rich formula. It is called a shower cream and not a gel after all, though – so I guess that explains its consistency. Due to the thick consistency it does sometimes take a bit of squeeze to get the product out of the bottle, but I’m not complaining. I love the rich texture! The “cream” is soft pink in colour, and has small crushed strawberry seeds to help scrub off dead skin cells to leave your skin’s surface looking soft and supple.

The exfoliating particles are so fine and tiny and as they come in a creamy body wash, they’re super gentle. So, yes, it’s perfectly okay to use this shower cream every day. I mean, who doesn’t love a multi-tasking skincare product after all?

From a hydrating perspective, this product does deliver. In terms of exfoliating, it’s very gentle, and only offers gentle exfoliation, but that’s fine by me because I have sensitive skin, so too much exfoliate can cause severe redness and irritation. If you’re after smooth, renewed skin, I can’t promise this product will deliver just that. It doesn’t remove those really stubborn dead skin cells for me, at least.
