LDC is the mildest, most versatile household cleaner available today. It can be used to wash dishes, handwash lingerie, sweaters, kitchen counters, stove tops, refrigerators, and many other soiled surfaces. The key to LDC’s powerful cleansing action is its very concentrated surfactant system.
Three surfactants (surface-active agents) are combined to form a high-foaming, mild detergent system with excellent cleaning capabilities. This group of surfactants acts as:
Emulsifiers – capture and suspend oils and other organic dirt particles in water.
Solubilisers – make insoluble dirt particles water soluble for easy removal.
Wetting agents – make “water wetter” to deeply penetrate fabric and spread evenly on hard surfaces.
When diluted LDC penetrates dirt and oils, it emulsifies and makes them water soluble. With mechanical action—like washing dishes or rubbing fabrics—the dirt and oil are lifted off the surface into the wash water. LDC rinses away completely, leaving no soapy residue.
The three surfactants are “surface-active agents.” Each molecule has an oil-soluble (hydrophobic) portion and a water-soluble (hydrophilic) portion. This allows the surfactant to surround oil, suspend it in water, and create emulsification.
They also reduce the surface tension of water, allowing it to spread evenly and penetrate fabric and hard surfaces.
By reducing surface tension, diluted LDC penetrates soils on hard surfaces and fabrics. Once penetrated, it emulsifies and solubilizes the soil. With simple actions like scrubbing or washing, the soil is lifted off and carried into the wash water.
LDC has a neutral pH of 7.00 and is completely water-soluble. It rinses away without leaving film, streaks, or residue. Use it to clean:
Cars and windows
Walls and woodwork
Pots and pans with burnt-on food
Its quick-acting surfactants also open drains and even help weed killers penetrate soil more effectively. Despite its power, LDC remains gentle on hands and safe for family use.
All surfactants in LDC are biodegradable. They break down naturally, helping prevent suds problems in lakes and streams. LDC is safe for septic tanks, sewage systems, and water treatment plants.
Completely free-rinsing
Digs out dirt
Gentle enough for fine fabrics and personal care
Economical – dilute for months of household use
Versatile – cleans dishes, house, laundry, and automobile
Phosphate-free
Biodegradable
Makes water “wetter” and penetrates grease
Since LDC is highly concentrated, dilute at a 1:3 ratio (1 part LDC with 3 parts water). For example, add about 90ml of LDC to a 350ml mixing bottle and fill with water.
It effectively breaks down grease and is ideal for:
Dishes, glassware, pots, pans, fine china, ceramics
Refrigerators, stoves, floors
Fine lingerie, sweaters, and other delicate hand washables
