Argan oil is a plant‑derived oil extracted from the kernels (nuts) of the argan tree native to Morocco (and parts of southwestern Algeria).
Depending on how it's processed, it can be “food‑grade” (roasted kernels — used for cooking) or “cosmetic‑grade” (unroasted — used for skin, hair, body oil).
