ACTIVE INGREDIENT:

Phenols 32% v/v (Dichloroxylenol +Chlorophenol)

INTRODUCTION:

Morigad Germicide is a brand of formulated Phenol BP, a relative. It’s formulated as external preparation for EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Effective antibacterial concentration of MORIGAD GERMICIDE® are corrosive to skin, hence can’t be used as antiseptic. It has broad spectrum of activity against vegetative pathogenic organisms including Mycobacterium tuberculosis and also show some activities against spores and viruses. It is therefore very effective for disinfection of contaminated surfaces.

ACTION AND USES:

• MORIGAD GERMICIDE® exhibits bactericidal effect by coagulating both enzymatic and structural proteins including the cell membrane of the micro organisms, acting as protoplasmic poison with irreversible cidal effect on micro organisms.

PURPOSE	DIRECTION FOR USE
For general disinfection For drains, sinks and lavatories	1 part with 600 parts of water 1 part with 300 parts of water
For Hospital: Infectious diseases or dirty conditions For equipment such as bed pans, forceps etc	1 part with 100 parts of water 1 part with 300 parts of water
For animal husbandry: General infection to prevent disease Washing of floors and walls in presence of infectious diseases	1 part to 400 parts of water 1 part with 100 parts of water
