ACTIVE INGREDIENT:

Phenols 32% v/v (Dichloroxylenol +Chlorophenol)

INTRODUCTION:

Morigad Germicide is a brand of formulated Phenol BP, a relative. It’s formulated as external preparation for EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Effective antibacterial concentration of MORIGAD GERMICIDE® are corrosive to skin, hence can’t be used as antiseptic. It has broad spectrum of activity against vegetative pathogenic organisms including Mycobacterium tuberculosis and also show some activities against spores and viruses. It is therefore very effective for disinfection of contaminated surfaces.

ACTION AND USES:

MORIGAD GERMICIDE® exhibits bactericidal effect by coagulating both enzymatic and structural proteins including the cell membrane of the micro organisms, acting as protoplasmic poison with irreversible cidal effect on micro organisms.
