The Blood Sugar Pill Story

It was the insects that alerted him. Ants and flies
had started gathering at his "pee tree" behind his hut. They, followed
by an almost insatiable thirst coupled with fatigue, told him the sugar
rot was starting to grow in him. Over the years he had seen these same
