Design and Display: The older 2017 version comes with a 5.7” display surrounded above and below by sizeable bezels. The lower bezels hold the capacitive home button which also doubles as the fingerprint scanner. For those who prefer the larger screen, the 2018 model is more suitable for your use. It comes with a 6.0-inches display and follows the latest near-bezel-less trend. The screen is wide enough to give you all of the space you need and sharp and clear with its 1080x2220 pixels resolution. Regardless of the size, both phones are sleek and adorable giving users the best of exquisite look.

Camera: The A7 2017 model has the traditional single rear and front camera. Although singular, the cameras are still sharp and bright. It has a 16MP rear camera and another 16MP for the selfie camera. The A7 2018 model has a higher camera detail all-round. The selfie camera uses a 24MP wide lens and f/2.0 aperture while the rear house triple cameras. There is a 24MP wide lens with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Software and Hardware: Both phones run on the latest operating system at the time of their release. The 2017 model has the Android 7.0 OS and is upgradable to Android 8.0 and the 2018 model has the Android 8.0 OS upgradable to Android 9.0. They also make use of the powerful customized Samsung Exynos chipset for their processing operations. The 2017 model uses the Exynos 7880 while the newer model uses the 7885 version. There is a 3600mAh battery in the older version which was reduced to 3300mAh in the newer version.
