This is paired with a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter and optimized waveguide, which delivers smooth, detailed high frequencies and helps provide a wider and more consistent listening experience.

The monitor uses a 100-watt Class A/B bi-amplified system, with 60 watts dedicated to the low-frequency driver and 40 watts to the high-frequency driver. This separate amplification allows the woofer and tweeter to operate efficiently and provides a balanced combination of power, clarity and definition.

The front bass port is designed to enhance low-frequency performance while allowing the speaker to deliver extended bass response from its compact cabinet. This makes the BX5 D3 suitable for smaller rooms and home studios where space may be limited, while still providing a strong and controlled low-end response.

For room positioning and acoustic flexibility, the BX5 D3 features Acoustic Space Control, allowing users to adjust the monitor's response to better suit their listening environment.
