After being pressed the roots are burned and ground down, the soluble minerals separated out from the insoluble and added back into the tincture. This spagyric process helps to strengthen the tincture by providing back the natural mineral matrix. In alchemical terms, this is putting the salt (body), back into the sulphur and mercuryy (soul and spirit). Separation and unification.
