LG 85 Inch QNED AI Mini LED QNED72 4K Smart TV 2026 – 85QNED72B6T

The LG 85QNED72B6T is a 85-inch QNED AI Mini LED 4K Smart TV from LG's 2026 QNED72 series, designed to deliver an impressive combination of detailed 4K picture quality, enhanced contrast, rich colours, AI-powered processing and modern smart entertainment. With its 3840 × 2160 4K Ultra HD resolution and Mini LED backlighting, the television provides a more refined viewing experience than conventional LED TVs, with improved control of brightness and contrast across different areas of the screen.

One of the major highlights of this TV is LG's Dynamic QNED Color technology, which is designed to deliver a wide and vibrant colour range. LG states that the display has been certified for 100% colour volume, helping maintain rich colours even in brighter scenes. The Mini LED backlight provides more precise illumination, helping create deeper-looking blacks, brighter highlights and improved contrast while revealing greater detail in movies, sports and other high-quality content.

The TV is powered by LG's α7 AI Processor 4K Gen9, which intelligently analyses and optimises picture and sound. Its 4K Super Upscaling technology can improve compatible lower-resolution content, while AI HDR Remastering, Dynamic Tone Mapping and Auto Brightness Control help optimise images for different scenes and viewing conditions. Filmmaker Mode is also available for customers who want to experience compatible movies closer to the creators' intended presentation.

The smart experience is powered by webOS 26, giving users access to supported streaming services, apps and online entertainment. The television incorporates LG's newer AI Hub, with features such as AI Picture Wizard, AI Sound Wizard, AI Chatbot, AI Concierge and AI Voice ID. Google Cast, Apple AirPlay, Apple Home and Google Home/LG ThinQ integration provide additional ways to connect compatible smartphones and smart-home devices. Availability of individual AI services can vary by country, language and internet connection.

For sound, the TV uses a 2.0-channel speaker system producing 20W of audio output. LG AI Sound Pro can create a virtual 9.1.2-channel up-mix effect, while Clear Voice Pro helps make dialogue easier to understand. WOW Orchestra and compatible LG audio technologies can also be used to create a more integrated home entertainment sound system.

The LG 85QNED72B6T is also suitable for gaming. Game Optimizer, Game Dashboard, ALLM, HGiG and VRR up to 60Hz help provide responsive gameplay with compatible consoles and gaming equipment. The TV also includes three HDMI inputs, eARC, USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, making it easy to connect gaming consoles, soundbars, decoders, streaming devices and other accessories.

The television has LG's Linear Flow Design, giving it a clean and contemporary appearance that works well with modern interiors. It can be placed on its supplied stand or mounted on a compatible wall bracket. With its combination of Mini LED technology, QNED colour, AI processing, webOS smart features and gaming capabilities, it is a versatile choice for everyday entertainment and premium home viewing.
