Kingston Technology A400 120GB 2.5-Inch Internal SSD for Laptop & Desktop

Give Your Computer a Faster, More Responsive Upgrade

The A400 120GB 2.5-inch Solid State Drive is designed to improve the responsiveness of compatible laptops and desktop computers. It delivers faster system startup, quicker application loading and shorter file-transfer times compared with a traditional mechanical hard drive.

Up to 500MB/s Read Performance

With sequential read speeds of up to 500MB/s and write speeds of up to 320MB/s, the 120GB A400 provides responsive everyday performance for operating systems, office applications, web browsing and essential files.

Actual performance may vary depending on computer hardware, interface, operating system, available storage space and usage conditions.

Bring New Life to an Older Computer

Replacing an older mechanical hard drive with an A400 SSD can help reduce startup and loading times while improving overall system responsiveness. It is suitable for everyday desktop and notebook workloads.

Reliable Flash Storage

The A400 uses flash storage with no moving mechanical parts. This allows it to operate quietly, consume less power and provide improved resistance to everyday physical shock compared with a conventional hard drive.

Slim 2.5-Inch, 7mm Design

Its compact 100 × 69.9 × 7mm form factor fits many compatible laptops and desktop computers with a 2.5-inch internal drive bay. Desktop installation may require a separate mounting bracket and connection cable.

120GB Everyday Storage

The 120GB capacity is suitable for installing an operating system, essential applications and frequently used documents. Actual usable capacity will be lower after formatting and system installation.

Compatibility Notice

This product uses a 2.5-inch Serial ATA interface. It is not an M.2 or NVMe SSD. Please confirm your computer’s drive type and available connection before ordering.

This SSD is intended for desktop and notebook computer workloads and is not designed for server environments.
