Dr. H VS Chauhan who retired as Dean of Veterinary College, Durg (Chhattisgarh), has wide experience in the field of poultry diseases. He was Head of the Division of Avian Diseases of Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar from 1976 to 1979. He was Professor and Head, Department of Pathology at Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi from 1979 to 1998. Dr. Chauhan has many books and other publications to his credit. He has written more than 125 research papers, including 20 in international journals. He is also the author of a book on poultry diseases in Hindi, for which he received DrRajendra Prasad Award of ICARHe was a gold medalist in MVScof Jabalpur University, winner of Dr. Ganty Shastri Award. He earned his PhD degree from Punjab Agriculture University along with 'Honours' Certificate for high (more than 80%) marks. He was awarded Indira Gandhi Award in 2010 by Vice President of India for his work in poultry diseases. He was recipient of "Distinguished Leadership Award" (Veterinary Field) of USA.
Dr. Sushovan Roy is Professor and Head, Department of Veterinary Medicine at College of Veterinary Sciences and AH, Durg (Chhattisgarh). He also worked as House Surgeon (Lecturer) in the Department of Clinics in Veterinary and Animal Sciences Faculty of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalay of WBHe has more than 26 years experience of teaching veterinary medicine. He has published more than 100 research papers in national and international journals. He has been elected as member of Veterinary Council of India. He is also the Secretary of Indian Association of Veterinary Medicine of India.
