He has served the Department of Civil Engineering, M.V.J. College of Engineering, Bengaluru 1983, and gaining promotion as an Assistant Professor in January 1985. Since then he served there as an Assistant Professor till 15" August, 2010, on 16* August, 2010 he joinedSouth East Asian College of Engineering andTechnology (SEACET) as a Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering till 29" of July,2012. On 30" July, 2012 he joined Acharya Institute of Technology, Bengalur as a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering. He is a fellow of the Geological Society of India (FGS) and Mineralogical Society of India (FMS). Besides, he is a Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (MISTE) and Member of Indian Water Works Association (MIWWA).
