This textbook has been written to cover almost all the topics on engineering drawing that can be taught in the engineering courses both at degree and diploma levels. Initial chapters of the book cover topics of line-work, engineering scales and engineering curvesIn the next stagefundamental principles of projections and orthographic projections of pointsprojections of straight linesprojections of solids and projections of planes are discussed. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Prof. P.J. Shah has done B.E. (Mechanical) and M.E. (Mechanical) from L.D. College of Engineering, affiliated to Gujarat University in 1960. He has a vast experience of teaching for last 50 years. He has written 3 books for technical high schools, 2 books for diploma students and many other books for under graduate students of Gujarat Technological University, Nagpur, Bhopal and Mumbai University. He has to his credit 25 books and was awarded 4 prizes for his exhibits at "Do It Yourself, State Level Exhibition" arranged by Technical Education Dept., Government of Gujarat. He has done short-term courses at IIT BombayIIT Chennai, Roorkee University and IIT Delhi
