Focus on Comprehension 4: A Guide on English Language Comprehension for Secondary School Students

Focus on Comprehension is a series of four books that provides secondary school students with systematic and rigorous guidance on understanding and responding to the texts they read. Together, the four books cover most of the objectives in the Reading and Comprehension elements of the English Language at the secondary school level. 

This book contains approximately 35 passages, each with focused comprehension tasks preceded by instruction in key comprehension skills. There are 19 main units, each focusing on a different skill or area, and 4 summative Practice Units and a final Assessment Paper, all designed to prepare students for formal assessments. The series helps students develop skills that they will use during their university education and throughout life.
