L'eau D'issey Pour Homme Sport Cologne by
Issey Miyake, L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme Sport is a men’s woody aromatic
cologne that was developed by
perfumer Jacques
Cavallier in 2012. It has citrus, woody, fresh spicy, aromatic, and
leather main accords. The fragrance opens with fruity head notes of
grapefruit and bergamot, followed by leather and nutmeg heart notes.
Vetiver, Virginia cedar, and ambergris base notes close this
arrangement. The moderate longevity and sillage make this scent ideal
for
spring and summer day wear.
Fashion designer Issey Miyake
established the Miyake Design House in 1970 in Tokyo, Japan. He is known
for his early avant-garde designs, combining Japanese techniques and
materials with Western technology, and innovating a new pleating process
that can be applied to garments that were already cut and sewn. His
first store opened in 1974 and his brand has grown to include at least
twelve product lines, which he still oversees despite retiring from an
active design role in 1997. The company launched its first fragrance in
1992 and has continued producing new scents through its partnership with
Shiseido.
