Hartmann Veroval® Duo Controll is a blood pressure monitor with high measurement accuracy and thus also recognizes cardiac arrhythmia (arrhythmias). With the device, blood pressure measurement on the upper arm for a upper arm circumference of 22 to 32 cm (medium cuff) or 32 to 42 cm (large cuff) is possible. The blood pressure monitor is the first choice for patients who are already suffering from cardiovascular diseases and measure their blood pressure every day. To ensure high precision, the Veroval® Duo Control measures blood pressure with the duo sensor technology. This innovative technology combines two professional measurement methods - the Korotkoff microphone measurement and the oscillometric (arterial pulse waves) measurement - and also measures correctly in arrhythmias. A high measurement accuracy is also guaranteed by the patented "Secure Fit" cuff, ensures the cup seat control and the resting absorption of the Veroval® Duo Control.

DUO SENSOR technology

The innovative DUO SENSOR technology combines two professional measuring methods: the Oscillometric technology and the Korotkoff technology. Whereas the majority of automatic blood pressure monitors only function using the Oscillometric technology, which evaluates arterial pulse waves, the DUO SENSOR technology additionally measures using the very precise Korotkoff method, where a microphone is used to record heart sounds. Doctors also use the Korotkoff technology to measure blood pressure, since this is very reliable (gold standard) and also provides correct readings in patients with cardiac arrhythmias.
