YD-RP2040 microcontroller board
C/Micropython/CircuitPython/Arduino
Dual-core Arm Cortex-M0+/264KB internal RAM/4M off- Flash(W25Q32)/Type-C USB/WS2812 RGB/PWR LED/USR key/REST key
High performance.Low cost. Small package.
Flexible I/O connects RP2040 to the physical world by allowing it to speak to almost anyexternal device. High performance breezes through integer workloads. Low cost helps ease the barrier to entry.
This isn’t just apowerful : it’s designed to help you bring every last drop of that power to bear. With six independent banks of RAM, and a fully connected switch at the heart of its bus fabric, you can easily arrange for the cores and DMA engines to run in parallel without contention.
For power users and profeional developers, we provide a complete C SDK, a GCC‑based toolchain,and Visual Studio Code integration.
Micropython
For hobbyists and beginners, we provide a polished port of MicroPython for RP2040,which exposes all the ’s hardware features.
CircuitPython
The Raspberry Pi foundation changed single-board computing when they released the Raspberry Pi computer, now they’re ready to do the same for microcontrollers with the release of the Raspberry Pi Pico. This low-cost microcontroller board features a powerful new , the RP2040, and all the fixin’s to get started with embedded electronics projects at a stre-free price.
Users can also pay attention to other development methods.
For example: Javascript,Arduino,Rust,Lua,Go,FreeRTOS,free pascal,Lisp
Compared to the official Raspberry Pi Pico, VCC-GND Studios' YD-RP2040 has the following improvements:
Added PWR power LED
The USB interface was changed to type-C USB
Added reset on to facilitate reset operation and firmware update operation.
Added the USRkey user on(GPIO24).
Added RGB lights(GPIO23)
Change PICO's W25Q16 to W25Q32(4M)/W25Q64(8M)/W25Q128(16M)
First, connect the computer via a USB cable.
Pre and hold the BOOT on;
Pre the RST on;
Release the BOOT on ar 1 second;
The computer will automatically recognize it as a removable hard disk;
Copy the firmware files to hard disk that appears and the core board will automatically reboot.
Instructions for using the USB cable
The on-board USB port of the YD-RP2040 core board is the Type-C interface
It can communicate with the computer and provide power
The cable can be used: USB Type A to Type-C cable or CC cable
Note the distinction between the commonly used USB A port to Type-C cable that can only be charged, which cannot be used for communication between YD-RP2040 and the host.
The MIT software Thonny, written by the University of Tartu in Estonia, was recommended for the development of the Python.
