Wireless window and door sensors with antenna are components of security systems that detect the opening or closing of windows and doors and communicate wirelessly with a control panel or hub. The addition of an antenna improves their wireless communication range and reliability.

How They Work:

1. Sensor Pair: Typically includes two parts:

A magnetic sensor (attached to the frame)

A magnet (attached to the window/door itself)

2. Magnetic Trigger: When the window or door opens, the magnet moves away from the sensor, breaking the magnetic field and triggering an alert.

3. Wireless Signal: The sensor sends a signal to the control panel using RF (radio frequency). This can be 433 MHz, 868 MHz, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, or other protocols.

4. Antenna: Enhances signal strength and range. Some sensors have:

Built-in antennas (internal, not visible)

External antennas (visible, sometimes adjustable) for longer-range or more robust signal
