How It Works
1. Contact – The suction cup is placed against the object’s surface.
2. Vacuum Creation – Air is evacuated (by a pump, ejector, or venturi), creating a pressure difference.
3. Adhesion – The higher atmospheric pressure outside the cup presses it tightly against the surface.
4. Release – The vacuum is broken (air allowed back in), and the object is released.
Main Components
Cup: Usually made from rubber, silicone, or polyurethane; designed to flex and seal.
Fitting/Connector: Connects to the vacuum source (pump or ejector).
Filter: Prevents debris from entering the vacuum line.
Mounting: May include swivel joints or spring plungers to adapt to uneven surfaces.
