He shares questions he received from the audience in the "National Grammar Hot Line", and goes ahead answering them by not only giving you the right answer but by showing how the given answer is structurally true. Also, he shares from "his files" funny anecdotes and experiences he has encountered throughout his career as English Professor and advocate, ideas that cement the topics in question. Though grammar is the main topic, Strumpf emphasizes good writing skills throughout the three parts: (1)The parts of speech. (2)Dissecting the Sentence.  (3)Spelling, Vocabulary and Punctuation.  He is not so stuck up to realize that language evolves although he advises against pointless disregard of grammar rules.
