Power Isolation: Turn off power at the main breaker box and test the existing switch to ensure no electrical current is present.
Remove Old Switch: Unscrew and detach the old switch plate, exposing the wiring box.
Wiring Connections:
Live In (L / L-In): Connect the incoming Live wire (typically brown or red) to the L terminal.
Load Out (L1): Connect the light fixture wire to the L1 terminal.
Neutral Wire (N): Connect the Neutral wire (if required by your specific model variant) to the N terminal. (Note: Some single-live models use a capacitor wired across the light fixture instead of a neutral wire at the switch box).
Mounting: Secure the rear module into the wall box using mounting screws and snap the glass faceplate onto the base plate.
App Pairing:
Turn main power back on.
Press and hold the touch button for ~5 seconds until the Wi-Fi icon flashes rapidly.
Open your smart home app (Tuya Smart / Smart Life), tap Add Device, select Switch (Wi-Fi), enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network details, and finish pairing.
Maintenance & Care
Cleaning: Gently wipe the tempered glass panel with a dry or lightly dampened microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbers.
Moisture Prevention: Do not spray liquids directly onto the panel or allow water to enter behind the glass edge.
System Reset: If the switch loses Wi-Fi connection, hold down the touch button for 5 seconds to re-enter pairing mode, or cycle the circuit breaker for 30 seconds to restart the touch controller
