This mechanism is applicable to many other brands of CD players and HiFi, as many manufacturers use SF-P101N lasers.
However, please note that there are two versions of the SF-P101N laser. One has 16 pins on the laser ribbon connector and the other has 15 pins.
The 16-pin type is provided here as this is the most common type. The 6-pin and 15-pin versions are not interchangeable.
The SF-P101N laser mounted on this mechanism can be used in many different brands of CD players and HiFi.
The laser model is printed on the housing of the laser. So if your faulty laser is printed with SF-P101N, then this is your mechanism. Simply count the number of pins on the edge connector to verify that there are 16 of them.
If your CD player or HiFi comes with an SF-P101N laser, you can replace the entire mechanism, which will provide a very effective repair because all moving parts in the CD reading mechanism will be replaced.
