Types:
Standard Container: Standard 60mL container for mid-stream, random sampling.
Urine Monovette: A syringe-like device with a straw used to collect samples hygienically.
Integrated Transfer Bottles: Green-top containers that allow direct transfer to laboratory tubes.
Labels: Essential for identification, usually including space for the patient’s name, date of birth, and date of collection.
Preparation: Some containers may contain preservatives for urine, often indicated by a red or colored top (e.g., boric acid for stabilizing samples). 
Collection Protocol:
Label: Write your details on the bottle before collecting.
Clean: Wash hands and genital area before sampling.
Procedure: Use the "mid-stream" technique—discarding the first part of the urine and capturing the middle portion in the container.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dark place (preferably a fridge) if not bringing it directly to the lab
